My Trusted Adults

Trusted adults are people who listen, respect safety, and take action when a child needs help.

What to know

Choose more than one: a parent/caregiver, teacher, counselor, coach, relative, nurse, or another safe adult.

A trusted adult should not ask you to hide unsafe behavior.

You never have to wait for a problem to become huge before talking.

Try it

Write or remember three people: At home ___. At school ___. Another safe adult ___.

When to reach out

Keep telling until someone helps.
