Safe or Unsafe?

You deserve to feel safe. You can speak up when a touch, request, place, message, or secret makes you uncomfortable.

What to know

Your body belongs to you. You can say no to unwanted touch.

A surprise is meant to be revealed; a secret that makes you scared, worried, or protects someone who hurt you should be told to a trusted adult.

If one adult does not listen, keep telling safe adults until someone helps.

Try it

Practice saying: No. Stop. I do not like that. I need help. Then move toward a safer place and trusted person.

When to reach out

Immediate danger means getting emergency help now.
